Auditing

Environmental Audits
Sustainable Footprint conducts environmental audits which assist clients to gain a better understanding of their energy, water and transport usage. Assessments use methodologies in accordance with the Australian/New Zealand Standard – Energy Audits (AS/NZS 3598:2000).
The data collected assists in identifying devices and locations that contribute the most to the organisation’s environmental footprint.
A Sustainable Audit Report is then compiled for the client’s site(s), detailing key findings from the assessment process. This report provides a listing of key recommendations, strategies and actions that can be implemented to reduce operational costs and energy, water and transport use.

NABERS Ratings
NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) is a performance-based rating system for existing buildings. NABERS rates a building on the basis of its measured operational impacts on the environment, and provides a simple indication of how well you are managing these environmental impacts compared with your peers and neighbours.

NABERS now incorporates the Australian Building Greenhouse Rating (ABGR), which has been re-named NABERS Energy for offices. Under the scheme, assessments are completed using strict nationally recognised validation protocols applied by a NABERS Accredited Assessor. Sustainable Footprint offers ratings under NABERS Energy NABERS Water protocols to complement our other Audit and Assessment Services. Results of these assessments can be used to as benchmarks to assist in reducing the environmental impact of our clients' workplace. The NABERS protocols can also be used to support applications to funding programmes such as the Green Building Fund administered by AusIndustry.
